Tee Pal automatically collects the Internet Protocol (IP) Address. The IP address is not tied to any personal information. Tee Pal also collects the domain and host information, and the type of browser the customer is using. Tee Pal also collects identifying information for e-mails sent to the customer such as whether the customer can receive graphic-rich HTML e-mails.
Tee Pal utilizes cookies to help track customer needs, effectiveness of marketing campaigns, and track products in cart. Cookies and session variables help customize the site to the customer's needs. Web beacons function much like cookies and track online movements to better understand the preferences and needs of the customer.
Cookies are harmless small files that are placed on the customer.s hard drive. These are accessed by Tee Pal computers or third party computers. Credit card numbers are collected in order to process online orders or to become a registered user. This is to help ensure that registered users and customers buying products and/or services are over the age of 18. This information is not needed to view any public part of the website but only for checkout, signing up for newsletters and other private parts of the website.
Tee Pal may collect optional data such as survey answers. The customer has the right to not fill out the survey. Additionally, all survey data is confidential and will not be tied to any personally identifiable information, unless otherwise specified.

Additionally, if there is an emergency situation, Tee Pal may release information, such as a family emergency.
Tee Pal utilizes the industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption to protect personal data. However, Tee Pal maintains that it may not be possible to provide complete security through the internet. Only certain personnel at Tee Pal have the access to personally identifiable data. This is kept strictly as a need-to-know basis. Tee Pal also ensures that an e-mail address cannot be used for more than one account. Additionally, Tee Pal may require a security question for new accounts so that in case of a lost password, a security answer can be utilized. Tee Pal encourages using a password and security question that is not easily determinable. Tee Pal encourages users to sign out of the website after completing a transaction or stepping away from the computer. To maintain the most up-to-date information, users can change their personal information by logging into their account. Federal law mandates that a credit card issuer cannot make the customer liable for charges resulting from identity theft over $50.
